Along with her husband David, Jaime co-founded COAST in 2007.  2 years prior, she founded  Pop the Cap SC (now the SC Brewers Guild), a grass-roots advocacy group to address restrictive beer laws in our state. Initial law changes allowed COAST to open as a production brewery but without any on-premise activities. COAST was the first organic brewery to open in South Carolina. The first few years were spent holding “real” full-time jobs and securing the ability for on-premise consumption and sales, all the while raising 2 boys. COAST built a brand new taproom and restaurant in 2022, expanding into food and cocktails, using fresh and minimally processed ingredients.

Jaime is originally from NJ and graduated from C of C with degrees in Psychology and Biology. She holds a varied background from Immunology at MUSC to lab work at a Biodiesel facility. She enjoys reading, nature and hiking and plans on visiting all 63 National Parks!
