Kelly, the founder of Still Soul Studio, and co-founder of stillspace Charleston and Sound Lounge Charleston, is a local entrepreneur, businesswoman, and mom who found her life completely shifted when she began a yoga and meditation practice after a shocking breast cancer diagnosis at age 40.
This life-changing diagnosis led to a complete re-evaluation and assessment of her health and career. She traveled back and forth to the Chopra Center in San Diego to study meditation with Deepak Chopra and team and after two years became a certified Chopra meditation teacher. Kelly was inspired to open Charleston’s first dedicated meditation studio for meditators of all levels, Still Soul Studio, on King Street downtown. Recently Kelly and co-founder Bob Bates opened stillspace Charleston on East Bay Street in Charleston’s French Quarter.
For more than 30 years, Kelly has dedicated her work to helping individuals and organizations identify and achieve their goals for personal and professional excellence. She holds a B.A. in Journalism from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and an M.A. in Counseling Psychology along with an Ed.M in IO Psychology from Columbia University in the City of New York.
