David is a husband, father, architect and small business owner in Charleston SC. Thompson is a licensed architect in SC, NC, GA and FL. David Thompson Architect, LLC was founded in 2010. The practice is a full service architectural and interior design firm focusing on hospitality design, (restaurants, bars, hotels) but also working on new construction, residential, retail and office design. DTA works as a collaborative creative studio focused on crafted, bespoke design that tells a story.
