As Sustainability Specialist, Kindall Brantley drives all sustainability efforts at AmplifiedAg to measure, manage and develop the company’s sustainable business strategy where the company is committed to creating and deploying vertical farms and technology that consume fewer resources, produce less waste, and grow more food for communities across the world — to modernize and localize agriculture.
Kindall holds the Fundamentals of Sustainability Accounting Credential through the IFRS Foundation to keep the company’s sustainability KPIs aligned with the SASB Standards and general principles of sustainability.
Kindall led a two-year operational analysis of the company resulting in the release of the AmplifiedAg Sustainability Impact Update in September 2022, as well as the company’s commitment to release science-based goals and publish annual ESG reporting beginning in 2023. Kindall also initiated AmplifiedAg’s stringent food loss and waste program and signed the pledge for AmplifiedAg to participate as an EPA and USDA Food Loss and Waste Champion, publicly committing to reduce food loss and waste by 50% by 2030.
For over two years Kindall worked as Farmer and Farm Lead at AmplifiedAg’s Vertical Roots farm in Charleston, SC, allowing her to implement sustainable strategies from hands-on vertical farming operational experience. Kindall holds an M.A. in Historical and Sustainable Architecture from NYU in London focused on holistic sustainability as it applies to the built environment and urban planning.
