Shareef Abdul-Malik is a 26 year old native of SE Washington, DC and a Howard University Alum c/o 2014 with a B.A. in Sociology and Community Development. In 2015, he founded WeBuyBlack.com, the largest online marketplace for Black owned businesses. In 2017, he launched Coral Oral, the First Black Owned Toothbrush Company and In 2018, Shareef launched Tubman Batteries, the first Black Owned Battery Company.
Currently, Shareef teaches Youth Entrepreneurship at his Alma Mater, W.D. Mohammed High School and serves on the governing board, the Majlis, of the Atlanta Masjid of Al-Islam. He lives in Atlanta, Georgia with his wife of 9 years and their two children.
