Andrea Serrano

I created a Charleston fashion blog and shopping guide to showcase the diversity of style that’s here in the city that I love. I focus on the local creative talents, from the designers to the boutiques.

My background in fashion encompasses styling, retail, and working in the film industry. Prior to living in Charleston, I worked in New York as a Fashion Stylist. For 8 wonderful years, I had the opportunity to work on major advertising campaigns, magazine editorials, and celebrity styling. I moved to Charleston in 2004 to pursue a laid back way of life and to fulfill my life long dream of owning a store with my husband Gustavo. We had a men’s and women’s shop called B’zar on Upper King Street, and then Charleston’s 1st sneaker boutique Suite Sole. I was captivated by the southern charm and hospitality of this dynamic city. After 5 great years in retail, we decided to close up shop and I took my career down a different path. My next fashion venture was the Costume Shopper for Army Wives. It was there that I discovered all of the gems at the local shops.

My blog has opened up new and exciting doors that has grown my business in more ways that I could imagine. I have partnered up with Zero George, on a bespoke shopping package for their guests. In March of 2016 I started hosting a fashion segment on Lowcountry Live called Fashion Friday where I highlight local businesses and designers. Presently, I continue to do freelance styling and producing for editorial, advertising, and commercial shoots, as well as personal shopping.
